Two dwellings. Dewa and Dewi. Named for the god and goddess who watch over this land—one facing the sea, the other with a secret window to the forest mountain. Built with carved wooden doors that tell nature’s stories in immaculate detail, and stone sculptures of Balinese dragons coiling along the walls, as if the island itself is still breathing.

The Common Ground
Between Dewa and Dewi, the island exhales. These are the spaces we share—gently, without schedule or expectation.
The Pool & Sun Loungers
A plunge pool that catches the sky. Cool water, no laps required. Beside it, sun loungers that remember the shape of whoever stayed longest. An outdoor shower waits beneath open sky—cold water, stone underfoot, a small ritual of renewal.
The Gazebo
Wooden posts, woven roof, open sides. It faces the sea horizon and asks nothing of you but presence. Morning coffee. Afternoon reading. Evening silence.
The Studio
We hesitated to call it a reception. It felt too formal. So we named it “The Studio”, a multifunctional space where work and welcome coexist.
- Culturally furnished with antiques that hold their stories quietly
- Air-conditioned, private, available whenever you need it
- Two desktop PCs, a printer, and a dedicated toilet
- A quiet corner to take a call, answer emails, or simply sit in cool stillness
Whether you’re a digital nomad on deadline or just need to print your boarding pass, The Studio is yours.
The Gardens
Two gardens. Two moods.
- Upper garden – Grass lawn, a stone fountain that murmurs to itself. Shade in the afternoon. Good for slow conversations.
- Lower garden – Grass lawn, an outdoor bamboo swing that creaks gently with each arc. The forest listens from the edge.
The Kitchen
Not a restaurant. A kitchen. Guests are welcome to store groceries, heat leftovers, brew tea at odd hours. Chef Putu rules his domain during service, but when the stove is quiet, it belongs to everyone.
Board Games
A shelf in the dining area, slowly filled. Some we bought. Some were left behind by previous guests—handwriting still on the boxes. They wait for rain, for laughter, for the quiet competition that turns strangers into friends.
Parking & Peace of Mind
- Free parking within the estate. Secure, shaded, steps from your room.
- CCTVs are present throughout the common areas—not because we expect trouble, but because caring for this place means watching over it. You sleep soundly. So do we.
